I like that confidence. He will be a star if he works hard in the off-season and improves his game. If we see the same Cuttino next year, he will not be a star. If he works to improve, he will be a true star. Jump Shooter is right. Cat is gonna have to work on a different game this summer. His world just got changed with the zone defense. I like Cat and I think he is an excellent player but, just because HE tells people he is the leader and the star doesn't make him one. The true leaders and stars don't have to tell people, they show people. ------------------
Cat is a star. He's not a superstar, and neither is Francis. Francis is on the verge of becoming a superstar faster then Cat, if Cat gets there, but to be a superstar you have to have experience to go with your talent. But Cat is a star. I consider a star to be a go-to guy who is capable of carrying, with the help of another star or superstar, a franchise. And jumpshooter, that will show that he is a star, because Cat and Francis are the perfect guys to have against a zone. People think you have to have all shooters to beat a zone, that isn't the case. Having three point shooters beat a zone is just a band-aid because you're not going to shoot over a zone everynight. To beat a zone you have to have slashers penetrate and break it down from the inside out. And that has Francis, Mobes and Mooch written all over it. Cat is nearly star. I like the humbleness he shows this time by saying "star or whatever you call it". To hear that from him is funny. Remember he said last time "I am a warrior. Usually warriors don't look this good, but....". Cat has this cool humor which many have ignored. ------------------
