Hi, my name is Eddy Curry. I am a 6'10" center from the suburbs of Chicago. I currently attend Thornwood High School in South Holland. I started playing basketball in the seventh grade. I wasn't all that good, but I had a big heart and the height to go along with it. I was 6'8" tall then, but fortunately I was not clumsy, I was what you could call "light on your feet." I was orginally a gymnast, but my growth spurt ended that due to the high risk of injury. So I chose a different sport, that is where it all began. I then polished my game, fine-tuned a few aspects of my game, and before you knew it I was ranked number one in the state and ranked in the top five sophomores in the country of everyone's recruiting magazine. I have intentions of being number one in the nation and one day going pro. I have been blessed and I hope I will continue to be blessed.

Our chances are very very slim. I would rather get someone with college experience. A high schooler would only slow the rebuilding progress.
