Damn.. that writer went after Curry. Curry is soft. Anyone that says otherwise is a Warriors homer. (Did I do it right Harden haters?)

WTH are you talking about? Outside of MJ and Kobe? Those two played with more all stars and players that were hot at the time than anyone. MJ never won **** without top 50 player EVER Scottie Pippen. And Pippen was in his prime. Kobe had Shaq, Karl Malone, Gary Payton, Horace Grant, Rick Fox, Byron Russell, and Derek Fisher and STILL couldn't get it done.

The Bulls were awesome, the Lakers were awesome, but the sucking off of MJ and Kobe because of their teams success is such overplayed garbage. Give the Bulls their due, but giving MJ all the credit for 6 chips is ****ing straight up stupid. They had good teams and a good coach that made it work.

People underestimate how good the Shaqless Laker title teams were also. The NBA had like 8-9 players 6’11” or taller that were relevant and the Lakers had 3 of them. In an era where having big players still meant something.

    This.

Kobe did jack all.as firsr banana. It is sickening that people think he is a top player of all time. No. More like a 6'5 Iverson - legendary scorer, but needed Shaq or Gasol etc to lead the team.

well that’s kind of my point isn’t it?. All of the good teams had other great players

but I guess my point was MJ and Kobe were players that could just score at will and could literally carry a team

No they couldn't. Neither could carry a team. Not to the playoffs.

I'm not buying the narrative that some people are trying to paint here.

Curry got off to a bad start, and unfortunately, had a freak injury happen in breaking his hand. I don't think him landing wrong on his hand from a bad fall has anything to do with his inability to "carry the load". Sometimes freak injuries happen, like PG breaking his leg. It doesn't mean anything. Not like CP3's hamstring that kept repetitively flaring up. I also don't think his bad start had to do with his team not having KD or Klay, just like Harden's horrific start had nothing to do with those around him, some times shooters slump.

Those seem like weak sauce salty attacks, I ain't with it. The Warriors are holding him out to tank though, which is totally fair for people to talk **** and make fun of them for. It a **** thing to do to the Warriors fans who pay for tickets, it's unsportsmanlike by Curry and the team to go through with a game plan of holding him out even if he CAN come back and play later in the season. That being said, a super smart move for the franchise at the same time. Warriors 2020 is going to be Curry/Klay/Dray/Russell + a top 4 pick, Jesus Christ. They'll probably be able to flip Russ and the pick for another superstar too.

It is smart. That tactic propelled the Spurs to more than a decade of success. Too bad Les was too short sighted to do something like that when Yao and Tmac were taking turns on the injured list. Or the last year of the Dwightmare when it was clear it wasn’t working.

Curry is maybe considered great because those eras needed shooters.

As a scorer and overall skillful player he isn't that great. He just excel at shooting and getting to a spot where he can make those shots easily.

Reggie Miller, Jesus Shuttlesworth, yeah, great players but nobody was close to being in a GOAT convo.

He lucked out at getting 3 rings.....just as Dwyane Wade lucked out at getting 3 rings.

Lol he didn't carry our team during his shooting slump, WB and Tucker did. He was awful, he kept jacking like crazy despite missing everything, he played horrific defense, he turned the ball over like crazy (and Curry had a higher assist rate).

Look I get it, people don't like the Warriors or Curry, but the mental gymnastics to **** on them and prop up our team is too much for me.

Stephen Curry is a true professional and I hope he retires a Rocket (or Warrior).

    Get well Wardell!

Curry was never that good coming out of college he was seen as a good bench guy that can handle and shoot. That’s what he is. Nothing spectacular in terms of court vision, passing, or creating his own shot. He’s a shooter, ball handler, and can play off the ball and drive to the paint when need be. He has always been the same player. It’s was unfair to compare him to harden or some of the more elite pgs in the league since he’s just not that type of player a la kyrie, Lillard etc. it’s no surprise here to be how much he sucks with no klay Thompson who’s been the key to his success.

funny how the warriors look better without Curry who was crumbling under the pressure without KD and Klay? Even Kerr admitted he couldn’t carry a team like Harden when asked why aren’t the warriors do what the Rockets do with Harden. He replied he is not like Harden. Fact is outside of his three ball he dosent have anywhere nearHardens offensive repatoire. If you key on him like the defensive assignments and schemes team draw up for james a one dimensional player like Curry will get exposed.
