I'm sure they expected more from their two high draft picks in the last two years ..... but much of this was intentional. Talk to me after the coming offseason and if it hasn't improved significantly, then I'll join the pitchfork brigade.
Stone has been an abysmal failure. Even if the plan was to tank for a few, with the finale to be a chance at Wemby, the one thing, the most important thing was to surround the KIDS with high character, SMART vets and a quality coaching staff to teach them. They have utterly failed in that department. The minute the season is done, the trash needs to be gone! Every coach except possibly Abdelfattah and ANY vet that has or has had character concerns behind the scenes should be waived or fired immediately. If they do not right the ship from top to bottom and fix this "culture" problem, this **** show is going to go on for years. The young kids will not only have problems on the court, but with each other as well off the court and it will only be a matter of time before they want out. They're the F'N laughing stock of the league. Wouldn't be surprised if they did win the lottery, if Wemby refused to come here. They better bring in a bad ass coach who can flip the script fast.
Current state is wasted years of rebuild except for getting assets from draft and absolutely nothing else.
