During his press conference, Morey talked about how you need all-star level talent to get certain moves done, and that he feels we have players with the potential to be all-star level.

When asked to list the players he;s referring, he refused saying that it would be insulting for the players he doesn't name.

Which players do you think he had in mind?

He has mentioned T-Will by name before as a potential All-Star.

I wonder if he thinks Bud and/or Lee have that potential.

Obviously Scola and Martin are close.

I don't know who he had in mind, but the only player I think has All-Star potential is Scola.

    Martin is already there.

The ones he is talking about could be T-Will and Dragic.

Scola, Martin, probably won't get it at this stage of their career

    PatPat, maybe once

Twill, Totally unknown at this point

Hasheem Thabeet, gets mistaken for Yao Ming and gets voted in

Sadly, we have no future all stars on our current roster. Everyone is too one dimensional. No one puts up all star numbers. :(

On 610 they mentioned Morey talking to Budinger. Obviously they dont know what the conversation is but it was speculated as to Morey talking about why he kept Bud around. Bud has shown potential and if he continues to play like how he did against cleveland and previous game, he's going to be a really good addition for the future of our team. I'm not saying he's going to be an all star calibur but really someone there who can help boost the team.

Only other that comes to mind is Patpat. Got to love him.

Well, it will be easier to make the all star game in the west now with Derron Williams and Carmello in the east.

While I think Scola is peaked.... I will say

Martin has a shot next year if he plays as well as this year and we have a winning record. Dwill is gone opening a guard spot, and if Ginobli won't have a year like this next year.

    Twill has shown talent.
Pat Pat could very well be one in a few years.

Dragic last year in the playoffs was one of the most insane things I have ever seen so I wouldn't count a 6-3ish point guard out in a few years. If they are able to work with

Thabust you never know if the man is pulling double digit boards and 2/3 blocks a game there are NO CENTERS in the west.

I don't think Lee will ever be at that level but you never know what happens.

All of you listing patterson, what is it about him that you think will make him an allstar? i dont watch college basketball other than ut, i know he was a solid player, and i think he will be a good player, above average, and play for a long time, he has a decent post game that will surely get better, good size, but he doesn't finish strong, he floats it up there a lot, maybe this is just cuz hes a rookie, i dont like to jump on players wagon after half a season, i just havent seen anything AMAZING out of him that makes me think hed be an all star.

thinking out loud here, i guess pfs dont have to be amazing dunkers like amare, they dont have to create off the dribble or make spectacular moves, so he could become an all star because he can shoot from anywhere, he is strong and wide, i do look forward to seeing him develop and i hope i am wrong, unless he leaves then i dont want him to become an all star haha
