i have brought this up before.. but..do you think...that in 20 years... the current rockets uniforms will become...old school cult classics given how unique they are... you look at the astros rainbow uniforms from the past, and people probably at the time, thought they were hideous..as we rockets fans, the majority, find these uniforms to be hideous... but i mean you go to champs or foot locker these days..and the old school rainbow astros jerseys are for sale. and i see alot of people wearing them.. after the rockets get new jerseys..and alot of time has passed..i can conceivably see, people wearing these jerseys..as throwbacks... everyone hates them now.. but i can see them coming back into style a long long time down the road. am i totally wrong..what do you think? and if you think im wrong, why are these astros jerseys selling so well?i see them in rap videos. i see them on the street. did people love them way back when?
I always liked the Astros rainbow jerseys. They were colorful and different but the way they wore those pants so damn tight looked terrible. Nobody wears the Astros jersey with just Astros across the chest and the rainbow stripes on the shoulders. I definitely don't like the current Rockets jammies and don't think they'll be worn in the future, they're awful. Just the frikken pin stripes and that red half block on the sides... what the hell is that? I hope our next jerseys are more classic style with two colors and no jazzy junk stripes and red blocks and big rocket tooth logos. Just give us back the red and gold!!! And bring back Bruce Gietzen while we're at it. We need the championship karma back.
