I have to vent my frustration. Polyphonic Spree has got to be my most hated band in many years. To make matters worse they are one of the bands that gets play before movies in the theatres. The announcement included part of a reveiw from a critic who said he had lost his faith in Rock & Roll and the Polyphonic Spree brought it back. I'm not a violent person but that was almost more than I could stand. The band can barely be considered Rock. It's more like a bad Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. They are bubblegum sounding psuedo/neo folower children meets Up With People. My hatred of them is so intense that I want to track them down burn their hair off, steal their instruments, and brand them with a distinguishin mark to let all know of their suckiness.
I knew Tripping Daisy, but didn't pay enough attention to know that they were now the Polyphonic Spree.
there are a ton of bands who call themselves rock bands that aren't even close. Trapt Simple Plan Good Charlotte
A Simple Good New Found Charlotte Glory Plan 182. (They all look and sound exactly the same) Any band that misspells their name. Any rap group that shows expensive cars, jewelry, and hoochie mama's shaking their asses in super slow motion in their videos. Any band featured on those annoying NOW 19 CD's that they advertise on TV.
Take Blink 182 out of that, and I agree 100%. I used to hate Blink, but their last album really was impressive, and the song that Robert Smith of the Cure helped on is beautiful.
Agreed...But I also hate KISS, I don't get why people like them? I got the new Nickelback and its descent...
All of the Pearl Jam clone bands, from Creed and Nicklecrap to Muddle of Pudd and Staind. Extra points off if they mispell their name (Staind, Trapt, etc.). All of the pop-punk bands that subject us to the musings of their inner child all the time (Blink 182, Good Charlotte, etc.) Older Hated Bands: Nelson Motley Crue Poison REO Speedwagon Pink Floyd (post Roger Waters only, I love them before that) Asia Yes Primus Styx
