    Rice is for the wannabes that couldn't get into any Ivy league schools or Stanford so get over yourself.

    Outside of W, the Bush family isn't viewed that negatively.

    It is also pretty unfair to base your opinion on someone based on their relatives.

    I guess that it doesn't make sense to go to any private college then. I think that Baylor, TCU, and SMU all actually cost more in tuition and fees than Rice does. Of course, if you're on scholarship, it could be just as cheap as going to a public university.

    baylor is known as a better school than ut because its private and neither is TCU, don't know about smu. (don't know if you were implying that or not)

    i think rice maybe worth the tuition if you're accepted.
