And, after all the hype surrounding the pitching matchup tonight, I have a feeling that tommorow's game (Miller vs. Zambrano) will be more of a pitching duel than today's will be.

at this point, I am hoping for a split. There just is no fire with this club right now.

We should have Berkman back but are losing Lamb until Thursday. Our closers (Lidge and Dotel) are most likely not available for Monday's game, but the Cubs used their entire bullpen yesterday in a 5 hour, 15 inning game. Both Clemens and Prior will feel the need to go deep in the game. My hope is Clemens will respond with 7 solid innings with Harville getting a save.

BIG series is gonna rely on BIG pitching performances. While it may be June, tonight's game has gotta be the biggest of the year. Clemens vs. Prior, does it get any better than that?

    Tonight's game: W

    I can't wait...

If we're lucky, we'll go 2-2, but after the Brewers, who knows...

    strained left hammy.... day-to-day.

That sux, because hamstrings are lingering-type injuries, and he plays a position where you need your full flexibility... hopefully he's a fast healer.

Also, at least for this game, we'll get to see Ensberg bat second again... :D

Well... I guess the Scrubs get evened out by that inning:

Walker hits a 434ft. bomb that stays in the ballpark because it was hit to dead center. (its a HR anywhere else).

But, they still get the RBI single... 1-0.

If it weren't for Prior's pitch count, I'd say that would be enough... but then again Dusty's a nutty guy, and might just decide to let him throw 140 for the helluvit.
