Recently Zach "big nose" Lowe decided to whine and complain (like he is apt to do) about....... Luka Doncic.... whining and complaining. Zach decided to pull out the "body language" line that BS journalists and media personalities are apt to do when they do not have anything material to write about. Lowe said: “Luka has become one of the biggest whiners in the NBA,” he said. “It’s constant, every time he drives he is whining. He spent so much energy whining to the referees and slumping his shoulders to teammates, it sucked the life of the team many times.” First, I am not not one to overly defend Luka. He still cannot shoot threes and for all the crap another superstar got for not showing up in shape, Luka was noticeably fatter at only 23 years old, and was slow to start the season. Still the constant narrative of body language needs to stop. The Mavericks are not struggling because of Doncic's body language. Credit to Mark Cuban for standing up to a writer that has crossed the line a number of times in the past. He tries to act as if he is above the fray, but constantly pushes a narrative. Cuban stated: “*** you, Zach Lowe. You don’t know ****. I know Luka. He’s not a big whiner. He’s passionate, he cares. He wants to win.” Cuban added, “He’s a baller.” Now that is how an owner stands up for his team in 2021.

I don't know how any Rockets fan can complain about other players whining when the rockets have Eric Gordon on the squad. Gordon has NBA's version of RBF.
Zach Lowe is annoying, and I get that Cuban is gonna stick up for his guy, but in this case, Lowe is right Luka complains to the refs non-stop, it’s ridiculous anytime somebody plays good defense on him and forces a miss, chances are Luka will start crying to a ref
Zach Lowe is actually one of the few in media that knows basketball, and has insightful takes backed up by both the eye test and analytics. He’s 100% right about Luka. I’ve seen several Mavs fans on twitter admit it themselves. M Cuban knows it too. That’s why his only response is ‘NO! he’s not a whiner, he’s just passionate! **** you.’
Lowe is not wrong and it was McMahon who was really pushing that narrative, where is this story from, sounds like a clout chaser. I listened to the entire podcast and Lowe was mostly taking up for Luka.
Luka is a baller. He's also one of the biggest whiner complainers in the nba. Not mutually exclusive. Lowe is correct. Cuban is unsurprisingly defending his player. Nothing to see here. Last is "big nose" an implication of something or just randomly observing male media facial features. Which would be new. Usually it's just the females that get the treatment since I'm assuming most of the posters are guys. For example, I've always been a fan of Katie Nolan's small cute face!

Let me know when the whining and "poor body language" starts costing the Mavs games like Lowe claims. I am not a Luka-stan and have no love for the Mavericks but his take on this impacting winning is absurd.
