    I'm for it. I wish the Astros could get more players out of Cuba, Dominican, etc.

    Isn't it "defector"?

    I thought "defect" meant something that is wrong. Unless you guys are talking about a really crappy player...

    It's a total crapshoot, some have done quite well (Hernandez brothers), others have been total disasters (Ariel Prieto).

    No, Joe Morgan says were only racist against black people.

    That's why there's none on our team. All our Dominican players must from now on be catogerized as racist white devils as well.

    Ask the Yankees on that one.

    They got a real good Cuban pitcher that ended up pitching out of the pen by the middle of the season. And that was after being shipped down to the minors. But on the bright side Contrares is making about 30 million and was the best pitcher Cuba had to offer. :)
