Has anyone seen the previews on Discovery Channel for this show "Humanzee"? It's supposed to run on May 16 and is about a chimp named Oliver whom many believe to be a mutant chimp or a possible chimp/human hybrid. He has a lot of human characteristics, the freakiest of which is the way he walks, which if you've seen the previews you know is EXACTLY LIKE A HUMAN. Genetic testing has apparently confirmed he's just a normal chimp with a lot of unusual features, but not everyone's convinced. Here's a couple articles I found on the creepy, creepy little guy. I saw this same damn show about a year ago. Turns out the "Humanzee" is actually a little-known and little-seen species of chimpanzee. That said, it was really interesting. If I remember correctly, this particular species is more ground-dwelling, as opposed to living in the trees like its better known brethren. Something like that.
My friend told me about this. He said it was insane. The humanzee would come up to you and shake your hand.
