We can play with anybody, but we are our own enemy sometimes.

Eliminating late game turnovers will be the difference between the lottery and playoffs.

Ok maybe Im mistaken here, but I dont think so...

The last few years with Barkley, and Hakeem and the Dump it down offense, the Rox have always been a horrible turnover team.

    Dreamshake,

It seemed that the turnover problem from the Dream and CB4 postup was dependent on how the other teams defended. Some teams were able to regularly double down and then were able to play the passing lanes for easy steals.

    Boy how the tables turn.

Last few years it's been "Let's get rid of the post-up, dump in low offense" and "They're too slow/old" or "That post-up crap causes too many TO's".....

Now it's "We need to slow it down, and get it in to someone down low" or "We had less TO's with the post-up"

    Make up your minds... [IMG]

Oh wait, I know... just have the Rockets win every game from here out and we'll at least be happy while we complain. [IMG]

Our prob is that we dont have a relisable goto guy like we USED to have in Hakeem and Barkley. The Old dump it in wasnt very TO prone as is the run an gun iso offense. Rocks will find their niche though. Nietche?

I never said we need to post it up and slow it down. I said we needed to NOT turn it over late in games.

Oh yeah, Dreamshake -- the Rockets did turn it over with Pippen. We were also the 8th seed last year and barely made the playoffs.

That is precisly what I said Rokkit.

We are too one dimensional. Teams will let you go to option 1 through the first 3 quarters. However, come crunch time, they are going to take away your number one option, and if you don't have a number 2, you are in trouble.

I think the point is - as someone else in here said (DaDakota?)- we need to not be so one-dimensional.

The problem in the past was it seemed like all we did was dump it in the post.

Now it seems we don't have enough of a post game to mix it up. (Although I'd like us to utilize Thomas a little more.)
