it's because of the arena. the utah arena's seats are angled very steeply, whereas TC is wider. the acoustics are superior in Utah

If this the playoff between Jazz and Huston live fans, absolutely Jazz win.

smaller arena with same people yelling> bigger arena with same amt of people yelling.
and I mean it doesnt hurt that the lower bowl at the TC is under the command of corporate stiffs.

and besides- cut utah some slack, they dont have much else to cheer about... besides joseph smith (dumdumdumdumdummm)

I think the crowd killed and overwhelmed the rockets tonight. The jazz didn't even play well..but the rockets got beeat by the crowd...they seemd very intimidated. And Luther head should be traded while he's still got value. I see his 3 point form..and i knew in the playoffs with more pressure he's never going to make that weird looking 3 point shot. But juwan..he's been shootin bricks since the end of the season. WOW 0 bench points..that's an nba record.

Did you see that commercial on NBATV of Johnson hitting the game winning 3 at Compaq Center. That crowd was amazing. It's Toyota Center, which is 1 of the 5 reasons I hate the Rockets.

Like T-Mac said, the fans can't come out on the court and play. The players have to block them out. It really doesn't matter that their crowd > our crowd. What matters is our turnovers and FG%.

    Those old arenas are loud.

The old Boston Garden was loud. Chicago Stadium was loud. The Spectrum was loud.

Sadly there aint much else to cheer about in Utah.
Its years of bottled up frustration of being a ringless j*zz fan.

Just got back from EnergySolutions Arena. That place was insane. Fans are rude and loud. They got up for every play. I haven't been to Toyota Center, so I don't know how it sounds there.

Go worry about the Mavs, mavs fan. I've got a hell of a lot more than 5 reasons I hate them.

Not only the Rockets were intimidated by the crowd, but also the refs were intimidated by the crowd.

Next game at the TC the fans need to boo at every Utah play on offense. The Jazz fans keep booing through out the game and were into it through out the damn game.

That means the crowd did their job.

TMac#1, I have no need to ever worry about the Mavs. Life is good
