    Just curious

How do you feel McCain backed the Iraq war before the surge?

    Critic or Cheerleader?

I really don't know, but feel that what is important is what will he do going forward.

    Very true.

But he has consistently stated that it was his criticism of the war before the surge and his support of the surge that qualifies him to be president more than Obama. So I'm just wondering where he really stood on the war before the surge.

He flip flops more than Kerry, so I doubt you will get a straight answer.

Funny how Flip flopping was such an issue in the last election but this time...uh....not so much.

Your "poll" is an opinion rather than a poll. Otherwise, it would have asked "Critic" or "Proponent." It's like someone asking if Obama were "Critic" or "Traitor" -- it's patently biased.

The reason flip-flopping is not an issue is that both candidates are flip-flopping like mackerels on a hot deck with seagulls after them. I'm not sure what either of them stands for anymore.
