Does anyone use them? Do you get decent coverage? Is the call quality pretty good? Have you had much experience with it out of town? Also, if you have one of their smartphones, which one do you have?

You're better off getting Virgin Mobile, they have a couple of Android phones.
I don't recommend Cricket at all.

I would go boost before cricket.

Boost has good coverage since it rides on sprints network.

Also their 50 dollar unlimited plan is great. Talk , Text and Internet.

I bought the Galaxy Prevail for my 14 year step daughter and she has not complained once.

Believe me that is saying something since she had a Iphone 3g over 2 years ago and whined about it.

Yup, this too. Both Virgin Mobile and Boost use the old Sprint 1900mhz PCS network. (Boost also uses the iDEN network on their PTT phones, stay away from this)

Also, if you're not looking to get a smartphone and just looking for a feature phone, i highly recommend PagePlus. I believe they are the only MVNO allowed to operate on Verizon's network.

Ive been seriously looking at one of those non-contract services. I'm with ATT and I pay $85 and I don't get unlimited talk or internet.
