crazy... crappy band's singer only slightly crushed... crap. -- Creed cancels tour after frontman's injury LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) - One of the biggest-selling acts in rock music this year--- the band Creed - is canceling the rest of its North American tour because the group's lead singer was injured in a car accident. Steve Karas, a spokesman for the band, said frontman Scott Stapp's body absorbed a 60 mph impact when his car was struck by another vehicle in his hometown of Orlando, Florida. Karas would not say when the accident occurred. Stapp is not currently in the hospital but has been advised by medical professionals to cancel the tour. In a press release, the band called the decision "regrettable, but necessary." The band was scheduled to begin the second North American leg of its "Weathered Tour" Monday night in Fargo, North Dakota. The cancellation affects 20 dates through May 31 in Selma, Texas. No makeup dates have been announced. All tickets for performances can be refunded at the point of purchase. -- CREED SUCKS
You're a jackass. Your sad because some guy didn't die? Creed Rules! I hope anybody who doesn't like them DIES.
Damn, Creed fans are soooooo sensitive. I never said I was sad he didn't die... did the 'crap' at the end of my statement signify sadness to him not dying? wellllll exxccuuuuuuseeee me. It was alliteration. Lighten up sensitive Creed fans. Your saviour was saved. He will live on to sing about the lord another day...god bless you all.
I always thought Scott Stapp was divine in some way. I mean he is always acting like he is a prophet or maybe the second coming. Why didn't he just "save" himself from the wreck?
Does Creed actually have any fans? It's funny cause they seem to hold their own when it comes to album sales. A lot of people seem to go to their shows. But, it seems there are no Creed fans anywhere to be found ? As for myself, I don't hate Creed. On the other hand, I am not a big fan. But, I do like some of their songs. I think the singer's lyrics are a bit shallow based upon the "turmoil" of his growing up in a religious family("well i just heard...the news today...seems my life...is gonna fade away" or "with arms wide open....welcome to this place...I'll give you everything" or whatever...hehe) but they seem to fit the band well. I do like the guitar in alot of cases but I am a guitarist so I tend to gravitate toward guitar sounds . I grew up on Rush lyrics so what do I know...I'm obviously into lyrics which aren't so straightforward and easy to decipher. I've heard alot worse but I've heard better. Part of their problem seems to be their image. I'm not even sure what that image projection is for most of you....but it seems really negative, like their a bunch of long-haired p*****s who drink prune juice all the time and are more sober than a congregation of priests. I dunno...someone who hates the band with so much passion explain it to me. thanks
I agree. I just don't find their music very interesting. Their popular songs get overplayed on the radio. I don't like Stapp's (lead singer) voice. All that said, hopefully Stapp will recover and continue doing what makes him happy.
Creed rider check this out... especially the red arrow near DINNER. too funny! Here's a document from the Seminole County Sheriff's Department. Apparently Crud's lead singer is a bad @ss...
man...the guy was in a car wreck...he has a wife and a son...ease off the "too bad he wasn't crushed" lines. who the hell cares whether or not you like his music??? it's these kinds of threads that frustrate me most...not because I like Creed's music, but because I can't believe how ready and willing people are to laugh at someone's misfortunes...simply because they don't like his music!!!!
My biggest problem with Crud has always been their collective ego trip. Granted they're rock stars and for them to have egos is not very surprising, but they are out of control. They talk about how much better they are than Pearl Jam and how Pearl Jam wishes they could be as good as Crud. Newsflash, you guys are the ones that wish you could hold a candle to PJ. What a bunch of idiots. Stapp thinks he is Jesus, watch him in the videos and when he talks about himself. He also goes on about how he loves his kid and "With Arms Wide Open" is apparently about his son. I don't think he realizes that most fathers love their kids. He makes it sound like he is the only one. Tremonti, their guitarist, says repeatedly how much better he is than anyone else who has ever touched a guitar. If they were actually good and said all this it'd be one thing, but they suck.
really? i've never seen anything like that....everything I've heard from Stapp is that he's been a pretty insecure person all his life.
I actually like Creed's new single, "Bullets", but I'm sure after a month of overplay, I'll hate that song also... Edit: The video's kind of cool too...
Well rH, sorry if i misinterpreted. RiceRocket1 - Collective ego trip bs? More like envy from you b****. Surfguy - Does Creed have fans? They "hold their own" in record sales? Riiight. Take a look at the charts sometime man. They are arguably the most popular rock band of their time.
Oh yeah, I forgot how much I envy Crud and wish I could be just like them. Thanks for reminding me Nomar. How is Mia?
