My sis is wanting to check her credit report and score for free. She is not just wanting the report from a place like annualcreditreport.com or whatever that site is. Is that the right site? Anyways, what is the best site to go to for this service? I know she will probably have to join a 30-day free program or whatever. What is best?
None of those places are "free." You have to sign up for their subscription service for X months. You can cancel it, but it is a pain to do so.
you can go to equifax.com or any of the other major reporting companies and get your report for all three there. I got mine all from myfico.com and it is really a good service. I like it so far. woops just saw you wanted for free....but you are allowed a free credit report each year with annual credit report which I have used as well.
