saw this on another board and I thought it would be interesting to see other people's choices.

body: what height and weight your player to have. Determines strength

ball handling: ability to control the ball

    hops: raw jumping ability

speed: how fast you go end to end

hustle: Goes as hard as he can for the game. diving etc.

decision making: what do you think this means?

creativity: To do something that's out of the blue such as behind the back passes, circus shots, etc.

    passing: duh

here's mine, I just used current players.
    --------------
    body: Shaq

    ball handling: Payton

    hops: Carter

    speed: Iverson

    hustle: Garnett

    decision making: Kidd

    creativity: Kobe

    passing: Kidd

    shooting: Rice

    shot blocking: Olajuwon

I just though this would be neat to see the different kinds of players we can come up with. You can do a funny one, a balanced one, an ultimate one, or whatever. Only NBA players can be used though. You can use someone more than once.

Larry Bird was the Ultimate NBA Player. Smart, could rebound, shoot lights out, great passer/ball handler and a leader.

A players jumping ability is overated. If you box out you don't have to jump through the roof for a rebound.

Larry wasn't fast but he had a quick first step that helped him get by good defenders.

Now if we're talking about who epitomizes what we feel to be best at each of these characteristics, I'll play....

All-time listed first, current NBAers listed next

Body: Micheal Jordan - Tracy McGrady

Handles: ??? - Allen Iverson (This one is hard to define. Is it fancy dribbling? Is it a good assist-to-turn over ratio? Is it the ability to shake and bake or cross over? Is it someone you trust with the ball?)

Hops: Dominique Wilkins - Steve Francis

    Speed: ??? - Allen Iverson

Hustle: Larry Bird - Bo Outlaw (or Kevin Garnett)

Decision making: Larry Bird - John Stockton

Creativity: Magic Johnson - Jason Williams

Passing: Magic Johnson - Jason Kidd

Shooting: Larry Bird - Ray Allen (over Stockton by a hair)

Rebounding: Moses Malone - Shaquille O'Neal

Shot blocking: Hakeem Olajuwon - Theo Ratliff

body: "Two Sandwiches" Hamilton(I'll bet he's up to 3 sandwiches by now)

ball handling: Kelvin Cato(His hands are named after Shaq's dog, "Brick")

hops: Mark Eaton(Couldn't hop over dirt)

speed: Mugsy Bogues(Fear:How else could someone that small last this long)

hustle: Kelvin Cato(Hey, he moves faster than paint dries on a rainy day)

decision making: Rasheed Wallace(I'm going to b*tch slap the next ref that calls me for a technical)

creativity: Kelvin(I call this my 30 foot monster dunk) Cato

    passing: tie between Kobe/Cat(D*mn stickum!)

    free throw shooting: Shaq(LOOK OUT!)

rebounding: Cato again(I'm going to be a brick layer after I get through screwing the Rockets out of all this money. After all, I've got the hands for it.)

Sorry, I couldn't come up with a shot blocker. Any ideas?
