I watched Crank Yankers for the first time last night. Where have I been? I was laughing so hard I was crying. If you haven't heard of the show, puppets act out real prank calls made by comedians like Jimmy Kimmel, Adam Carolla, Sarah Silverman, Kevin Nealon, and there's more I'm forgetting. What are the funniest calls you've seen?

Here are some highlights from last night:

Some guy with voice assistance (think Stephen Hawking) calls up a phone sex operator.

    J.K. Rowling's assistant phones a public library.

Florist explains life and death to kid.

    Dirty professor phones co-ed.

    Man calls to marry Aunt.

Ed (?) phones baseball team's media relations.

Crank Yankers is great. I still think one of my favorite ones is in the first season when Wanda Stykes (sp?) calls an auto repair shop and complains that she just picked up her car and someone took a crap in the back seat.

The hardware store call is one of the funniest.

"Is there a taste to the caulk?"

I loved this one. The caulk still brongs up a giggle here and there, though.

I can't get into that show. The puppets are distracting.

You want good 'phone pranks', you should listen to Phil Hendrie. He is the master.
