Honestly, positivity goes alot further than negativity.

I'll take Tony Robbins over this boot camp major any day of the week.

But if people are THAT lame that they need absolutisms like this shoved down their throats then sure...

You can't motivate everyone the same way. Kind of lame to call people lame if they need something a little more hard hitting.

Positivity tells you how great you can be.

Negativity warns you that you are F______ up.

Hope and Fear are both great motivators.

I've read cracked articles like these, but this is one I can't get behind.

The pseudo-absolutisms are pure garbage. There's a narcissist in every one of us, but he's taking that assumption to the extreme.

What I don't understand is how can the writer expects a world with 7 billion people to be full of unique and "number 1" individuals.

We are all the same. Is that such a bad thing?

Author is not telling you to be a "unique number 1 individual", he is just saying gain a skill that makes you interesting and little bit more valuable to other people

He's not saying you have to work for NASA, but you can study Astronomy; You don't have to be a Doctor but you can learn the Heimlich and CPR; You don't have to be a Grammy winning artist, but you can learn to play the Harmonica.

I liked the article, but I feel like that one paragraph talking about internet commenters is him getting overly defensive about his videos on the website (they really do suck).

Also, I get the whole idea that you need a skill to be interesting and/or succeed professionally, but I think (hope) that being a good person has some merit.

Wait - does this mean that 200k in debt I racked up majoring in transgender studies is not going to pay off as an investment?
