I am watching SNL right now, and I finally got to see the famous cowbell song. LAMO! I felt so lost until now. This is probably an old SNL, but just a heads up. I remember someone asking about him before on the BBS. Will Ferrel is the best ever! Just a heads up....
UP, you mean just now when he was playing cowbell with Queens of the Stone Age? (yes its a rerun from earlier this year)
well I'm sure this was just one of many of his cowbell scenes, but yeah. I just saw it in that "concert".
Oh ok. The skit everyone talks about is an old one from Will's SNL cast member days. It's a parody of "Behind the Music" with the cast members as Blue Oyster Cult (also with Walken). Will is the cowbell player in the band. If you haven't seen it, try to download it or check it out on SNL greatest hits. It's awesome.
Here's the cowbell skit Behind The Music: Blue Oyster Cult http://www.milkandcookies.com/links/12491/
Thanks. Now, I've finally seen the cowbell skit everyone's always talking about. It was stupid and not funny. I don't know why everyone loves it so much. But, at least now I know what it's all about.
I just saw the cowbell skit for the first time and I have to say... Hilarious! Very reminiscent of the SNL of old (Eddie Murphy days). The cast members couldn't help from smiling/laughing (notice - right after Ferrill says, "I'd be doing a a disservice.." the guys start laughing. Great stuff! Top notch!
I've seen the cowbell skit many times. If you don't find it funny, the only prescription is more cowbell.
He certainly does. I don't like him because of this, in this video he was cracking up in the corner. It was funny at first, but seeing him laugh in every skit gets annoying.
thanks for the reminder uprising and for yall fellow cowbell freaks and those who have been living under a rock don't forget to use the search to revise your Cowbell history Cowbell search of clutchfans bbs
I'm just like you guys. I put my pants on one leg at a time. The only difference is, when I have mine on I make gold records!
I couldn't help but laugh when I was watching this clip tonight and just had to post it here: <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wCc7XJRDD74&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wCc7XJRDD74&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
