I bring this up because of the recent Britney Spears debacle, the Tom Brady baby thing, and countless other celebrity stories we hear every day. Do you think you could handle what they have to go through? Like reporting on your every move, your relationships, your children, your lifestyle, following you around snapping photos every second, et cetera, etc cetera, et cetera?

Do you think you could deal with your every move being reported/photogrpahed/wrote about?

    Poll included. :)

Hell no. I would hate to be in the limelight like that. I'm sure it's more than a bit frustrating...I'd rather be rich yet not famous... :)

Yes. The key is to be famous but not TOO famous.. maintain a reasonable level of fame, and enjoy all its perks without losing much privacy

But if you're as good-looking as I am, that's not going to be easy

I'm sorry, but I have NO sympathy whatsoever for these celebs that b**** and moan about a lack of privacy. When things are going well for them, they LOVE all the attention but when things start sucking, they want everyone to leave them alone.

Sorry, but you can't have it both ways.

It's just sad that there are a lot of people who can't wait for celebrities to struggle, fail, and fall from the pedestal others put them on.

It's equally sad that there are a lot of people who center their respective careers on ambitions of fame, who can't wait for the glitz, glamore, and limelight while ignoring or not as mutually acknowledging all the bad that comes with all that good. And, also, who can't wait for the same media, they whine and moan about when things go bad, to cover, exhault, adore, hail them and put them on that very pedestal they didn't complain being placed on when things were bright and shiny.

Nah. That is just an immature, ignorant person with misplaced priorities. Taking delight in the misery of others, whether it is because you love gossip or you're just a hateful person, is a lot more pathetic.

i think it'd be easy to handle it.

Then again...I'd be too "normal" for the most part. So people wouldn't have much to write about or take pictures of.. except me being drunk. But all that looks like is me happy and confused at the same time. They'd get bored of me without any drama, so I wouldn't really have much to handle

These celebrities sure hate to be hounded and scrutinized, but you won't see the majority of them turning down the perks that come with being big time.

A lot of them seek this attention. Many times the paparazzi are notified by publicists in an attempt to keep their stars names in the public to create buzz.

Name a mature, intelligent well-grounded celebrity who has their priorities straight, that people can't wait to see struggle, fall and fail?

I'm personally not hateful, certaintly do not care for "gossip". But, I can't help but shake my head at celebrities like your Britney's and Paris Hilton's struggle, fail and fall right into the "other side" of the lifestyle and say, "can't say I care."
