If they released him I would definitely consider him for the minimum.

Umm.. Just wondering... why would we go after Blake? Honestly in my opinion the kid has no upside and I rather play Aaron Brooks over him.. **** man Aaron chumped him in playoffs for over 30 points didn't he?

Only two people I want from Portland that seem to be touchable now is Rudy and Pyrzbilla.

I would rather have Brooks and let him develop into a allstar point guard and not share minutes!

Both Brooks and Lowry are better than Blake.

I would have considered or hell wanted Blake badly last year... Cause of Alston.. but now we have some kick butt point guards sure there not the greatest but they give other point guards trouble Billups, CP3, including Blake.

the question should be : COULD WE USE BAYLESS AT POINT?

I think this signing opens up a lot of trade options with POR.

battier for bayless and rudy fernandez

I dunno I like Bayless and all I just don't think we need him. Maybe someone else?

A good trade for both teams. The Rockets gets a promising point guard and a sg that fits the run and gun game of the team. The Blazers get a veteran to stabilize the team when the team loses its focus.

well to be honest I LOVE Bayless. Well at least I love having him as a prospect with massive potential that can shine when he can get minutes from his team.

I actually think we really really need Bayless. Because even though Aaron was amazing in the playoffs...remember all those threads about how everyone was criticising Aaron? for example "MUST.TAKE.BALL.OUT.OF.BROOKS.HANDS" and like "bench aaron brooks!!!" "aaron brooks cant defend" and threads like that...that just showed how inconsistent he can be at times.

its just I dont think aaron has the tools to be a starter in this league...hes kinda like nate robinson right? agree? but robinson cant even be a starter in the knicks when they are losing every season...

bayless I think can really be good when he plays like 30 minutes per game. great size at 6'3, athetic, fast, shoots the lights out. so with them signing andre miller I think we can get him in a trade.

regards other players we can use? I was really think about Martell Webster...but hes been injured and so I dont think Morey will go for him.

w22, like other on this board, I think you're overrating shane. Why would portland give up fernandez and bayless for shane? If they offered those 2 in a deal, there would be a lot of teams offering more than what the rockets are offering.

The Blazers got their veteran leadership in Miller, so there's less need for Battier.

Why are you ready to give up on Brooks did you not see what he did in the playoffs last year? Give him one more full season and he will be a All-Star pg... What has Blake did that makes him any better then AB lets stick with Brooks and Lowrey both are young and played well in the Playoffs...........

glad u like it. I'm sure loads of ppl both rox fans and blazers fans would like it too.....
I think the value is great for both teams in that so like its not just some pointless my 33 yr old backup SG for ur 32 yr old backup SG...like there is really some incentive for teams to do this trade.

everyone highlights portland wants battier mainly because of his leadership..but I think they need their defense way more than their leadership...batum starting on a championship contender with no backup at all??? man hav fun being burned up by kevin durant for 50 ppg each night

other thing is aaron isnt good at finishing around the basket due to his small size....and if we were to play fast break style we need someone that can finish awesome...bayless!!! da dude got sum mad hops...

(shhh we're gonna trade aaron as soon as the right deal comes up)
