This is one pg I would love to see in a Rocket's uniform. He is a tough player, has a good basketball IQ and looks to pass first. I don't know if Indiana would want to deal him but I have heard off and on that they are dissapointed in his play. It seems if we could take back a couple of players that they would want to get rid of, we might be able to swing a deal and fill a couple of holes. Maybe something like: Houston trades: Maurice Taylor - scoring big man off the bench to help offset the loss of Harrington and to help when Oneal is not on the floor. Weatherspoon - Big body that will fit better in the east. Piakowski - Good spot up shooter to help when team double on Oneal. Maybe a future pick. Indiana trades: Tinsley - Good, semi-young pg that could anchor our team for years. Pollard - Enforcer. Always hustles, fights for rebounds and hassles the opposing big men on 'D'. Croshere - Guy has been a dissapointment but maybe a change of scenery really makes a difference. Salaries & contracts match up pretty well, but more important is that we get our starting pg, an enforcer and depth at either forward spot. Any thoughts?
Considering they would be left starting Anothony Johnson at the point, I don't think they'd jump on that one.
You're probably right. I was just hoping THEY could be the ones looking at what is left in FA and not us. Haha!
