I cannot remember if a thread has been made about this yet, or if anyone has already suggested this theory. But is it possible that maybe Hakeem is saying these things about playing elsewhere next season simply because he doesn't want the media to make a big deal out of his swan song? Hakeem is just the type of player who hates it when all the reporters make comments about how it is his last game in Philly, Dallas, New York, you name the city. Suggesting that he might play next year will quell this type of hype. I certainly am not suggesting that this is a probale situation, but how many people think that this just might be the motivation behind Dream's comments this season? I remember during some interview with Hakeem when he was commenting, he kind of had a half grin on his face, suggesting that maybe there was some trickery afoot. Just something to tickle the ol' right side of the brain. Left side is logical, right side is artistic I have also thought that Hakeem is simply deflecting the media from his last go round. I have no proof, but the thought has crossed my mind, as it has yours. ------------------ Behad Sergeant at Arms of the Clutch BBS
Yes, but the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body, and vice versa. It's why so many artists are left-handed. ------------------ My dream job is to be a Houston Rockets towel boy.
The thought had crossed my mind numerous times. Why would Dream tell Rudy to use him in any way that would help the team at the beginning of the season.... and now the latest rap is that he would like to play with Shaq in LA???? I call BS.....Lets hope Dream is pulling one of his humble moves to distract the farewell tour from happening. Because the thought of him wearing gold and purple makes me want to puke. ------------------ "Chucky who?" Charles Barkley
