I mean, I know he could be a bust, and Rudy doesn't draft high schoolers, but his stock is falling, and we may have a chance. He could be everything we need. A tall player capable of all frontcourt positions. We could draft either Woods, Haywood, or Johnson at 18, and Morris at 23. That way, we have two impact players (in comparison), and in a couple of years, Chandler could be our answer. Thoughts? ------------------ Greatness is not a singular act, it is a habit. You are what you repeatedly do.
Woods won't be there @18. Chandler may be there at 13. I'd like the rockets to move up to the 14,15 with the 18+23 so they could get two contributers. You never know with high schoolers. ------------------
I wouldn't want Chandler, and I don't think that there is any chance that Rudy T. and CD will draft a high school player. ------------------
I don't have time to post the link, but some one in the know has already posted some Rockets 2001 draft priorities. Unless things have changed in the last 2 weeks, the Rocks regard Chandler as the second best SF in the draft (after Griffin). And yes, they would pick him. However, it is VERY unlikely they will be able to pull a deal that puts them near Chandler. ------------------ GATER
