With the Grizzlies and Nuggets improved this season and surging so far, do you the Rockets might end up last in the Midwest?

    No,

The Nuggets will drop like a lead balloon now that they have so many road games, and their schedule toughens up considerably.

No, and they will make the playoffs, but this inconsistancy is hard on the stomach lining.

Oh, they'll make the playoffs, but they might kill me in the process.

    No.

Look, I am as upset as everyone else is, but they are still the Kings. We put a huge fight to ONE OF THE BEST TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE and almost took one. We were pretty hot (7 of 10), and unfortuantely we are cooling off, every team goes through this.

We all know that barring serious "player unavailability" (dont want to say the word and jinx it), this team is making the playoffs.

To suggest otherwise because we barely lost to the NBA's best team is stupid.

are you kidding me? the rockets are one of the west's elite teams right now, you can't just jump ship after 2 losses in a row...

I think they can be better than Utah at least, but definitely possible not making the palyoff this year again if SF didnt improve. The way he is shooting now, he shouldnt touch the ball at all. Not making shots is contagious, and he is supposed to be the leader of this team.

We'll make the playoffs, then get bounced in the first round. I think everyone can see that coming.

Well, I predicted on this board they would be last in the division about a month ago...but I have to admit I started to have renewed hope in the Rockets for an 8th seed in the playoffs (also predicted on this board).

however, I am starting to believe again that the Rox will end up last because the midwest is just that tough.........

if we can push it to 7 games in the first round, the season will be a success.

We're 6th seed in the West despite Francis' shooting woes. Given that we are as successful as we are despite Francis' slump, I think it might be better to speculate where we may end up by season's end if Francis can get his shot back. I don't think he can shoot much worse than he has so far.

Fair point! I mean our team starts with our 2 star players in Francis and Yao. Neither of them have been consistant, yet we are still winning. And we dont really have that deep of a bench either.

    Amen.

Sure, we lost to a very medicore at-best Heat team, but that was the third game in four days. Then, we come back home to play one of, if not the best team in the league, play them close to the end, all with one of our best players shooting horribly.

This team is going to be just fine.
