Shaq will sit out the next 3 games for L.A. and will be evaluated next Thursday to see if he will be available for the All-Star game or not. http://nba.com/news/shaq_injury_010201.html If he doesn't play then I think Steve will have a good chance of playing. I honestly have changed my opinion on Steve. He just doesn't deserve a spot on the team. His stats are great, but I think he has just been way too passive the whole season. I think Stevie is just in the sophmore slump. Call me crazy, but I think his stats are down because he is trying to become a more complete basketball player instead of just a scoring machine. Unfortunately, that kind of effort doesn't show up on stats (with the exception of assist). ------------------

I just read on NBAtalk.com that shaq is going to sitout the next 10 days including the all-star break to movtivate himself for the second half of the season or something. I hope steve gets the nod and he def shud seeing that there are to many fowards (many capable of playing center) while there are only two gaurds reserves. ------------------
