Shaq will sit out the next 3 games for L.A. and will be evaluated next Thursday to see if he will be available for the All-Star game or not.

If he doesn't play then I think Steve will have a good chance of playing. Dirk Nowitski and Pedro Stojavic (?) are the only other players I see having a chance as well.

    What do you think?

I honestly have changed my opinion on Steve. He just doesn't deserve a spot on the team. His stats are great, but I think he has just been way too passive the whole season. Hopefully next season, he will step up, and truly lead the Rockets.

Sorry to be off topic, but I imagine that question has NEVER been asked.

I think Stevie is just in the sophmore slump. Call me crazy, but I think his stats are down because he is trying to become a more complete basketball player instead of just a scoring machine. Unfortunately, that kind of effort doesn't show up on stats (with the exception of assist).

    or just call him Peja.

but do not call him Pedro, as in Guerrero, the coke head.

    that is all [IMG]

and, i would be greatly disappointed if they added another forward.

I think Nowitzki or Abdur-Rahim will get the nod if Shaq sits it out.

Its a combination of some of the most hilarious quotes from the gov of Texas.
"Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning."

"I know how hard it is to put food on your family."

"They're gonna be put to death." (from the second debate)

Obviously its just a stupid joke.

BTW, ZRB's previous sig sucked too:

    Rocket Game Formulas:
End of 1st quarter: "They're playing so well!"
    2nd: "What a great game!"
3rd: "Theres no way they can lose now!"
    4th: "What the ******* **** happened?!!"

Why would Shareef be picked ahead of Steve?

Both players have comparable numbers and the Rockets have a much better record than the Grizz.

Its just the way he said it. He had that smirk on his face, and you could sense his joy when he said it. The man enjoys his executions. Seriously though, when he said it, he really sounded evil.

Being unselfish is an extremely rare quality in franchise players in sports today. I'd give him the nod for the all-star game, but my guess is Nowitzki is a lock if any more reserves are called upon

    Sophmore Slump?? Stats are down??

What Steve Francis are YOU watching??

Last time I checked, Francis is averaging more points, more rebounds, more steals, has a higher FT percentage, higher 3 point percentage and has fewer turnovers than last year...Sophmore slump my white ass...Now, with Shaq out of the all star game and Payton pulling an ab muscle, I'd give Stevie an all star nod...

    Try again...

I just read on NBAtalk.com that shaq is going to sitout the next 10 days including the all-star break to movtivate himself for the second half of the season or something.
I hope steve gets the nod and he def shud seeing that there are to many fowards (many capable of playing center) while there are only two gaurds reserves.
