Could someone please explain Rudy's thinking to me?

The Rockets are double-teaming Steve Smith out behind the arc, yet they are allowing Tim Duncan to post up on the much-smaller Kenny Thomas or much-slower Kelvin Cato with single coverage. Why? Duncan has 29 points on 12-15 shooting, and there's still 4:30 left to go in the third quarter! What is Rudy's game plan?

Of course, just after I wrote that, the Rockets wen't on a 10-0 run to cut the lead to just six after the third quarter. I need to start more negative threads during games!

    But I won't...

About a year ago. Just ask Dr of Dunk to explain it to you.

    I know...

I think I'm the one ZRB fan here. He cracks me up sometimes and his pessimism is similar to mine.

Explain why the hell walt williams is starting instead of Griffin? What benefit is it to the development of this team to have Williams getting more game time than Griffin and Morris? Rudy ha went beyond logical coaching this yr.

Rocketsauce b**** slaps everyone on the board with a big fat trout

    :p

    When is the draft?

Can anyone explain to me why I'm not eagerly awaiting baseball season? I'm usually going nuts right now, but this year I seem to infatuated with F1 and notheing else. I think this Rockets season has killed my appetite for Houston sports.

    So sad.:(

But that's OK. I'm sure my tune will change come opening day. As for my beloved Rocks', I need some progress soon or I will just sit around playing with my Hakeem bobble head and leftover cotton candy instead of jumping around and screaming at the TV set when they play.

    Anyone feel the same?

They play two different positions. Walt is the best 3 on the team, and KT is the best 4 on the team. Cato is probably the best option at the 5. Where would you like to see Griffin start? You do realize he's shooting 38 percent from the field, right?

I know this reply is so late as to be useless, but...

Bobby Riggs, was famous as a tennis hustler before he became famous by being beaten up by girls. He made a name for himself by upsetting the heavily favored Don Budge (I believe that is the correct opponent - the strategy I am about to get to is correct). Budge was a big hitter who used a heavy racket to generate even more power. Riggs gave him lob after lob for the first two sets. Budge replied with slam after slam. He totally humiliated Riggs for two sets. However by the third set he begin to ge tired and in the end Riggs won a five game match, with Budge to tired to even rasie his racket.

Maybe Rudys plan was for Duncan to hit his head on the rim and miss the last few sets.

Maybe Rudy's plan was for Duncan to get light headed from prolonged breathing of that thin air at the above the rim altitude where Duncan was hanging out for all those slams.
