This might not be the correct forum. But New Jersey has just lost their backup point guard for at least 8 weeks. We have plenty of PGs to go around. Anyone think they could be looking at us for a deal. Just a wondering ....

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- New Jersey Nets backup point guard Marcus Williams will be sidelined six to eight weeks after having surgery on his right foot on Wednesday.

Williams had a screw put in his foot to help repair a fractured fifth metatarsal. He is expected to begin rehabilitation in two weeks.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Martin O'Malley and Nets team physician, Dr. Riley Williams III, at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

Williams played in 79 games as a rookie last season, averaging 6.8 points and 3.3 assists. The former Connecticut product was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team and participated in the T-Mobile Rookie Sophomore Challenge at All Star Weekend.

how about Rafer and Novak for Boki? Boki has a decent chance of being the next Peja, a lot better than Novak anyway.

They're signing or have signed Darrell Armstrong.

Darrell Armstrong just signed with the Nets. He will be their primary backup until Williams returns.

That will resolve their issue. Oh well , back to the drawing board and maybe we can move Rafer, JLIII and Novak before the season begins.

I would jump off my front porch if we can get J-Kidd without losing Tmac and Yao somehow.......
So I'm only dreaming, anything wrong with that?
