    should have never traded gay, i guess since he got traded, stat sheets were thus allowed into the locker room, causing epic cancer and controversy. Rudy Gay is a genius! sacremento for the 'ship.

    no. what i said was that the rockets better hope to the basketball gods they pray to that they don't meet the grizzlies in the playoffs.

    the grizzlies right now have a perfect storm of stupidity and bad luck going for them.

    1. a rookie head coach that never should have been hired.
    2. Marc Gasol out.
    3. Quincy Pondexter out
    4. Tony Allen out
    5. Ed David (wanna guess? yes out)
    6. Zach (missed 2 games)
    7. Bayless (missed games)

    the media has been critical of grizzlies moves, and prying into the front office handling of things such as the rudy gay trade, hollins firing, now barry hecker telling all.

    HOWEVER, if you ask most grizzlies fans, punting this season certainly isn't the worst thing that can happen. and there are some positives.

    1. zach has expressed interest in reducing his contract obligation to stay with the team.
    2. getting into the lottery with a high draft pick.
    3. mike conley playing like an all star that he is.
    4. ed davis showing promise.

    the grizzlies are going to be a problem if some of those things happen and the grizzlies get a stud player from this year's draft.

    Hope they get better. Loved their style of play and fan base. Would say they are my second favorite team and hope they can become as competitive as last year.
