With Wemby out for the year. Chris Paul might be bought out.

    Bring him home

If he really does get bought out, Wemby being out for the year + this, plus Luka being traded would make this the wildest year in recent memory. Maybe capped off with a young, inexperienced team making a deep run in the playoffs...?

If that happens, he'll go to LA with LeB!tch.

I know publicly Morey got the brunt of the PR hit from the Westbrook trade, but anyone who thinks this kind of trade is made without ownership full support is crazy. There's no way CP3 has a good enough impression of Fertitta to be thinking about the Rockets after a potential buyout.

I'd love this. The Point God still has game, and we see how many problems the Rockets have had lately out there when we dont have a true pg on the court (FVV being injured).

    Horrible news about Wemby.

Chris would give us a chunk of what we need, but we're missing other pieces right now...closer and shotblocker. While I wouldn't want that kind of infringement on Reed's minutes, one can't help but wonder about CP3's influence on the kid. I could certainly get my mind around it all.

While I'd love to have him, I'm guessing its Boston or LA.

Tired of people ripping on the GOAT Lebron. He has brought unity to the players as they all (including Amen) no longer try in the All-Star game. He’s defended China when nobody else will. He went anti-cop for a cop in Columbus saving a white girl from being stabbed in the face. His campaigning for more off days and less minutes in games has been instrumental towards the health of NBA players. He’s a true ambassador of the sport and needs to be left alone from all the negativity as he’s done so much for the growth of the NBA!!!

Spurs decide to tank, wouldn't be surprised if CP3 seeks movement to a contender before March 1.

Yeah I doubt he'd come here. We disrespected his talent in the past and aren't a true championship contender this season.

Would love to see it though.

He would go straight to the Lakers unless someone would claim him off waivers.

No way he comes back with Till-man as owner. He could go to la to ring chase but with labron and Luka do they want another ball handler? I would think he wants to ring chase but get minutes and throw lobs. I could see him going to Denver, Dallas maybe or Celtics but idk if he will get minutes there. If I was gambling it would be on him staying in SA because I don’t see any opportunity worth upending his family for.

Of course, Chris Paul was going to be bought out from the day he was signed. This was just a way to get waived and say he didn't want this but at least he gets to join a team he wants to join that was otherwise capped out.

My guess? He'll join Lebron. That's what I've thought since the day he signed there. Half a season of mentorship in exchange for being waived at buyout deadline.

Am I the only one who doesn't believe this blood clot story? They're just effin tanking.

IDGAF .... He's not a Rocket and never will be.

    I don't like the guy. F*** Lebrat.

And the GOAT is still MJ.

Tilman is dis-qualifying, but he's coming back. He loves mentoring the young guys (on how to be disqualified)

Look, I'm whatever with your love of LeBron for his off-court stuff. But why do you believe he was the only person who defended China? And how would LeBron even be a difference maker for the second biggest economy in the world? We are talking about an entity making $17 trillion per year vs. $479mil career earnings of LeBron here.
