Cost of getting Sarah Palin to speak at your event

I would like to sell some seafront properties to whoever pays that much for listening to her speak.

 

I think this is pretty standard stuff for politicians. But my favorite part was that she actually negotiates bendy straws for her drinks into her speaking contracts.

 

Yes on Galveston Island and near New Orleans.

 

The only thing I thought was ridiculous was the pre-screened questions. It wasn't unexpected, though.

I also got a chuckle out of the bendy straws.

 

I have no love for Palin, but I refuse to hate the player on this one.

if you've ever negotiated an appearance contract with any entertainer or politician then nothing in there would surprise you. of course, since it's palin, the socialist totalitarians will run amok...

 

Everyone who posts criticisms of Sarah Palin is obviously an elitist who hates special-needs kids.

 

I was shocked when she made special-needs kids a central plank of her stumping, as if anyone really cares about them and is going to base a vote on it.

 

I would hope that most politicians would be open to answering unscripted questions, but that's probably asking too much. Aside from that, I agree with you, nothing else was surprising or even particularly unreasonable.

She's pretty popular, even if she can't put out a coherent thought.

I'd quit the governor's job too for the kind of cash she rakes in as a speaker.
