Can someone in the know tell us exactly what the details of Tito's 'semi-guaranteed' contract are, and what the ramifications would be in cutting him? I just don't believe there is a roster spot on this team for both Tito and Hawkins. And, based on what I have seen (granted, Hawkins has played in exactly 1 preseason game), I think I would take Hawkins over Tito every time. So, if we cut Tito and keep Hawkins, how bad does it hurt, or does it hurt at all? By the way, Tierre has really come along well. Never was a huge fan of his, but man, he is becoming more and more 'basketball smart' every time he plays. Mooch better watch his back. Ciao
Good post...I agree with your opinion about these guys. Hawkins showed some athleticism that the Rockets need on their bench. If he has another preseason game like last night, I think that Torres and Maddox should be sent packing.
