I'm just choosing these 3 because they seem to be the ones popping up the most that are REALISTIC.

I want Miller myself if I had to choose amongst the 3.

I'm not going to suggest someone like Jose Calderon cause I'm assuming the Raptors aren't stupid.

I'm not going to suggest Artest or Bibby cause I really don't think the Maloofs will help us out because of Adelman (Bibby's contract is also difficult).

My pieces to trade are Francis, Bonzi, and Snyder. All 3 scenarios were accepted by the ESPN Trade Machine.

I would love to get Mike Miller and Andre Miller in here.

Mike Miller seems realistic because we have the expiring contracts Memphis wants and we can throw in Novak and picks.

Then we should offer whatever else we have left for Andre Miller.

    Just imagine this squad:

    A. Miller/Rafer
    T-Mac
    M. Miller/Battier
    Scola/Landry
    Yao

Hopefully we can keep Bonzi. But I think we need to make a move because the Lakers and Jazz just each upped the ante by getting Gasol and Kover (3-6 from 3pt tonight!!!).

    Mikey Miller all day.

McGrady loves him, we could use him.

I agree on Mike Miller but I really want to see us keep Battier too. The idea of bringing a Mike Miller or Maggette off the bench to lead our second unit is pretty scary.

    Sam Cassell

When the heck will Mike Miller play? He wont beat out Tmac or Shane for minutes

    Would he take Head's/Bonzi's minutes?

I think PG is a bigger need.

Mike Miller is another playoffs choker. Out of the three he is also the only one not to get out of the first round.

    Signed,
    Kevin Garnett

For real, screw the "playoff monkey" stigma. There's no such thing as a "choker" in sports anymore really. Sooner or later they all win eventually in the right situation. I'd roll the dice with Miller especially if he came cheap. Wouldn't you?

First trade: Andre Miller for Novak, Snyder and James.

Why Sixers would do it: Novak and Snyder are off the books this year and Mike James makes 4 million less than Miller next year.

Second trade: Mike Miller for Francis, Head, Hayes, and Bonzi.

Why Memphis would do it: Francis and Bonzi are off the books this year. Hayes and Head have the same number of years or less and make less money than Miller.

One problem is I would like to keep Bonzi, but I am not that good with this trade machine or the NBA CBA. So if anyone can try to figure out a way to get the Miller boys in here without trading Bonzi, then we would be good.

Sam Cassell. Relief for Alston and a clutch player with heart in the playoffs? I think he's our missing ingredient. Besides, he really needs to retire in a Rocket jersey.

artest reiterated his request to be traded and don't want to play the rest of the season there.

DM, do something brother. you are being destroyed right now by the other GMs, even mitch kupcake.

We won't have anything left to offer if we get Mike Miller. Some other team can probably make a better offer. The Rockets mustn't give up Landry or Scola for either one of them or either Maggette. We aren't likely to get anyone of value without giving up either Landry or Scola but management shouldn't make such a mistake.

Miller essentially takes Bonzi's place cause I have him as part of the trade.

I disagree. If a team is willing to give up a Maggette for Landry AND take on Mike James's contract the Rockets have to do it. With Les unwilling to go far from the LT threshold the Rockets will only have around 5M (provided Francis opts out) to split between re-signing Landry and four other players for a squad of 15 next season.

I prefer Mike Miller but if we target Maggette this would certainly help....

We really need Maggette to pull an Artest and go with the "i'll opt out" card. That puts a ton of pressure on LA to accept the same kind of crap they'll likely have to accept for Artest in order to get something in return.

Call me crazy but I'll take Landry over Maggette at this point of their careers. I'm not enamored at Maggette as our 3rd scorer and less enamored if we have to give Landry.
