Wasn't that the first real "buzzer beater" of Steve's Career? I know Mobley and Moochie have had a couple, but I can't remember Steve hitting a go ahead shot with less than a second left on the clock at the end of a game

I believe it was his first. He has hit plenty of game clinching shots, but has never hit a game winning shot with less than 10 seconds or so. He hit a game winning three against Atlanta last year, but that was with 30 seconds left.. He also hit a game-tying shot against Vancouver in his first trip there as a rookie. He has tied games up with his free throw shooting on a few occasions as well. Never before has he made a game winner with so little time left, until now! What a shot it was!

it was his first. by stevies own words from usatoday.com:
"I didn't mean to lose it but I wanted to run off as much time as I could and take a shot the last possible second, " Francis said. "The first time Ihave made a shot like that to win a game and doing that in my first home game back was special."
