I've never really followed minor league baseball, but I have to say that's one of the coolest pro sports logos ever...

    Idunno....

it's hard to beat the Las Vegas 51's

How can you beat aliens with baseball seams in their heads?

    or the Modesto Nuts

The Ottawa Lynx have a really cool logo to with just some cat-like eyes hovering above a baseball held in a clawed hand. (I can't find a good picture).

Minor League Baseball logos are an artform unto themselves.

Well, 8 years of the Rockets dildo have made me weary of putting mouths and teeth on inanimate objects.

I like the simplicity of the Hooks logo...how the two hooks perfectly blend in to the logo as a whole...It's just so zen-like...

Bagwell's twice the player he used to be, so, 55 works.

Either that, or he's half the player he used to be and overcompensating. :/

Or he could be five fifths of the player he used to be.

Any reason why Baggy is in AA rather than AAA?

Good question. I believe it's because the Hooks are playing at home and New Orleans is on the road.

Actually, Bagwell and Backe will join the Stromiles for the second game on Saturday against the Cards.

According to Bill Brown, Bags will even see a pinch hit at bat.

Backe (with five strong innings Friday night) will like be inserted into the starting lineup next Wednesday on the road against Phillies.

I hope their come back go hitch free.
