Wow, what can I say... The corn-mullet has got to be one of the worst hairstyles EVARRR!1!! When the NBA coaches and GMs of the league collectively gathered to expel Latrell Sprewell (it was not the money demands... it was the hair), you would think that other people out there took notice. Tyronn Lue was shipped off to Atlanta for it. Just because it's braided from the scalp all the way down the back doesn't mean it's still not a mullet. Why is it still around? Oh yeah... SPURS FANS. Last night's game was a perfect showcase of corn-mullet effrontery. Section 415 was unfortunately packed full of Spurs fans, the most vocal of which were two corn-mullet sporting Spurs fans. Ugh...

The first 50+ minutes of the game was pure bliss... the fat female Spurs fans in front of me (yes, all female Spurs fans could stand to lose at least 80-150 lbs) shouting GO SPURS GO! were quieted as we built up a nice lead. We had some fairly rowdy Rockets fans up there, although not as many as I'd like to see. Unfortunately, as the shots stopped falling for us... and the whistles were swallowed (unless, of course, it was a Manu-flop, a Duncan-hook, or other travesty)... the Spurs fans began to make noise. Corn-mullets #1 and #2 would stand and throw what appeared to be West Coast gang signs and taunt bewildered Rockets fans. This of course encouraged the fat female Spurs fans to wipe the nacho crumbs from their chests/ample bellies and renew their screeching.

A shameful night in Rockets-land... However, knowing that I share an office only with other Rockets fans, I won't have to put up with any trash-talking crap tomorrow. I pity those of you who are less-fortunate.

    Wow. That's pure poetry, kpsta. Corn-mullet.... :D

The Spurs fans were out in force. I'd say that 1 in 20 people there were Spurs fans. It was hard to hear that crap on the way out last night.
