Let's not turn this into a "you're gay" thread. But, does that buy not have the most muscular body in the NBA? Unbelievably ripped and pretty big as well.

Anyone out there close to him? Ben Wallace?

Funny you mentioned this gr8-1 .... I couldn't believe how ripped Maggette looked. He has really become a damn good ballplayer too. When he was with Orlando, that guy was nothing but a dunker. He's improved and some team will get a very good player in Maggette soon enough.

I was seeing the comparison in the face and build of Maggette and 50 cent as well. As for Method Man and Kenyon, here you go:

Maggette is a stud! Most you guys don't get to see the summer games when Maggette just plays around with players and has all sorts of playground moves he likes to show off, it's like the AND1 mix tapes. The guy has so many fancy moves and makes it look so easy. He's always been talented, the only knock on him in the past was all the fouls he would get esp offensive ones. He's a scorer even in the past he was averaging 10pts in 20mins of playing time. Now that he's getting more mins people are starting to notice how much of a scorer he is (35mins / 17pts). And he's only 23yrs old.

LOL that hilarious SF3! Esp that one of Kid Rock looks like Tyrone Nesby. The Tito Maddox looks like OG Ice T was true back when he was in college when he had the long comb back hair look. The best one was Glen Rice looks like Treach, he really does esp when I watch that show at night I use to think it was Rice.

LA'S#1 - maybe all those playground moves are what is driving DJ crazy in trying to coach the team. The Clipps announcers (Lawlor & Smith) kept mentioning this during the last game vs the Rockets. From that I draw the conclusion that apart from the muscles, the athleticism and the improved shot, Maggette makes extremely poor oncourt decisions. Seems like a good argument for those wanting to add him to the Rockets roster. :D

    Ditto.

His development has been stunning, and for a while I thought he would be out of the league after a couple of seasons.

Almost makes you wonder if the Rockets should make a run at him, he'd be an upgrade over Posey at SF.

How about shooting guard? Magette just proves that the whole you can't get an NBA player from Duke is just a myth. How about two legite NBA players on the same team from Duke, Brand and Maggette.

I have really wanted this dude since his Freshman (only) year at Duke. Back then they had a quote by Coach K saying basically that Maggette would be a better NBA player than Grant Hill. If he would be willing to take the MLE we should offer it. He's a good player but I don't think he'll be getting a really big deal. About the Nuggets, I thought they were targeting Kandi and Arenas.

GATER - Your partly right Maggette does need alittle more maturity but he is not in the Mobley bonehead league. He has a little too much aggression on offense and at times will take things personal and go one on one esp with top players such as Kobe. But he has improved much in this area compared to his previous seasons in which he would get silly fouls as much as he got points. I hate those annoucers they are critical of everyone, they don't ever think Maggette should shoot unless it's a dunk, if any shot that is taken that doesn't go in for him is a questionable one. They love Miller and everyone knows he's the problem and the real one that needs to improve his wild plays and decisions. What I love about Maggette is that he plays with heart and comes with his A game night in and out. As for DJ he seems to be mad every game like he's about to go PO on everyone, seriously I feel bad for him and all the stress he must be facing.

But my main point was that Maggette is super talented, at Duke he was a flashy dunking machine but many don't realize how good he is at handling the ball. He's got PG handling abilities for a SF though his passing is not as great. He's got a sick quick crossover and a rare super mid range game.

BTW, If you think Corey is ripped, you should play closer attention to Quinten Richardson also, that guy really has been hitting the weights and he is only 21 or 22.
