Nice find! One of my favorite sampling moments is Pharcyde - Runnin'. A collision of the Pharcyde, J Dilla, and Stan Getz, all 3 of whom I'm a big fan of. I love when the small moments like this, not the major loops, that get sampled and turned into songs.

I saw the Pharcyde at Rock the Bells last year in Chicago...awesome performance. The next day, I was flying to Toronto for work and Rock the Bells was coincidentally in Toronto that day, and the entire Pharcyde crew happened to be on my United flight. They were keepin' it real and flyin' commercial coach class...respek.
Wow, that's awesome! Unfortunately I've never had the pleasure of seeing them live. BTW, I live how this website tells you exactly when each sample was used and sampled from.
Cool find. I was just thinking about this yesterday if there was a site for cover songs/samples. I was listening to some Eighties station and "I Ran" by Flock of Seagulls came on and my roommate was totally shocked since he never heard it before. He said he heard a rap song that sounded just like it by "slim thug" and I just shunned him.
