    A prescribed burn in CA escaped and ran up a mountain to the Big Bear Ski Area... it eventually picked off a ski patrol hut at the top.

    rimrocker, it seems that a lot of wildfires are a result of prescribed burns gone bad, I know we never hear in the news about a burn if it goes right, how often do these burns get out of hand?

    Good question. Rarely do burns escape and of those that escape, rarely does one burn down a structure. I think I have some stats at work... I'll try to post next week.
