Well, turns out I had some damage in the hurricane I was unaware of - I've been out of town since right after the storm - and I need to get estimates for repairs. I've called a couple of places who aren't taking any work because they are too busy. Any suggestions for someone reputable? I just need to get estimates for the insurance.

i'm expecting someone to come do an estimate on my roof this week. I've never seen his work but he was recommended by my brother in law. i don't think i want to refer someone i've never done business with.
At this point, I just want someone to come look and give me an estimate. I know people are tied up with jobs and I honestly don't expect anyone to be able to do the repairs I need soon and that's fine. But, I would rather get an estimate than have an adjuster come out and make decisions on his/her own about what it will cost.
I have been hit or miss using Service Magic but if you are simply looking for an estimate from a near by company, this seems the way to go.
