We're just a few weeks away from the Feb. 19 trading deadline, and the feeling is in the air that Morey will pull the trigger on at LEAST one deal before then. I thought it would be fun to have a little contest to see who's the best Clutchfans prognosticator. Since it would be nearly for someone to guess ALL aspects of the next trade, we're going to focus on these three items: 1> Which Rocket player(s) will be dealt. 2> Which team gets the player(s). And as a tie-breaker: 3> The date the trade is officially announced. Your guesses have to be exact. If you say Luis Scola and Joey Dorsey get traded to the LA Sparks, but only one of the two get traded, you're NOT right. The prize for the most accurate guess: Not a DAMN thing, other than Clutchfans bragging rights. Since it's my thread and my contest, I'll kick things off... I'm going to say Luther Head goes to Golden State on 2/5.* I'm thinking DM will let Luther go for a second rounder in this year's draft.
Hmm. Just my guess. I think Artest has riled a few feathers. By the time he gets back, he'll have what ... 10-11 games or so before the deadline? Probably 9-10 with T-Mac, if they're lucky. If the ship doesn't get righted quick, they have to ask themselves if they're going to re-sign Ron. I'm saying Ron Artest to [geez, can't decide] on 2/19. New York or Miami ... I'll go Miami.

#3 would be sweet. miller's numbers have dropped since going to minnesota but i think if he were to come to houston his numbers would increase while benefitting from yao's low post presence but to my guess for the contest... i think... theres no way i can guess whats up morey's sleeve...ummmm artest for andre miller on feb 19 or artest for tj ford and jeff foster on feb 19
When has Ron been on the wrong side with this team to be traded. I think when Ron plays the team plays better D and has a better chance of winning games. The only trades I can come up with is two fold: Head to NJ Feb. 19 and IF TMac is going to be dealt it will be to the Miami for Marion and filler Feb. 19.
