I can wear glasses for about an hour or two, then my face gets tired. I even tried some of those paper thin frames, but still no luck. I got contacts in junior high (1988). Thank God for disposable's because that daily cleansing and weekly enzyme cleaning sucked ass. Next step is lasik eye surgery. Anyone have $2,000??
I was all gung ho about getting Lasik... till they said something about cutting a flap on your eye... at that point I thought glasses weren't so bad.
I got glasses in third grade and contacts in fourth, so like 10 years ago. I've never had any real problems with them. And it's better than wearing glasses. My lenses would be like an inch thick (my contact prescription is up to a -7 I think, which isn't good). Hope they work out better for you! I can't wait to get Lasik, but my vision needs to quit changing first. Hopefully soon! If anyone needs any infor on Lasik, ask Lynus. He had it done a few years ago and I think he's been happy with it.
