Blue heelers are so freaking awesome. Smart, smart, smart and very trainable. Probably my next dog.

The Suez Canal hasn't been in the news since I've been alive. But Moses probably created quite a log jam back in his day.

Could be. Have you ever Suez Canal'd a long turd sideways in the toilet to where it wouldn't flush?

Yeah, when it runs aground on both sides of the bowl, blocking any other precious cargo from flushing down past it?

You will train your Blue Heeler to work cattle?

Doesn't take all that much training, most of it is instinctive (like I said they're smart as hell). My uncle has a 2 year old red one and it's fun to watch it work.

They're called "heelers" because they'll circle behind cows (or sheep and goats) and nip at their back feet to get them moving in the direction they need to go.

eta: you *have* to work them or they'll go crazy, ala border collies and other stock breeds. Boundless energy and I can see how you could wear your shoulder out playing fetch when there's nothing to do.

Damn, like they never thought of using tug boats or have a few for incidents like these on stand by.
