I don’t believe for a second that JVG, CD, and the Rockets organization, want to move up (or down) in the standings. I’m not suggesting that in the past couple a weeks they’ve lost games on purpose. However; staying in the #7 position is exactly where we want to be. You don’t think JVG knows that? We match up extremely well with the T-wolves, again JVG knows that. I know there have been some injuries (allegedly), but if we were serious about moving up, I think you’d see some of those injuries heal quickly. This game is bigger than the Xs and Os and I would suspect CD and Co. have considered this
Oh geez Mel..........here we go I don't think that is really on their mind. Yeah they would prefer that match up, but making the playoffs is the most important thing, not losing certain games. I think the injuries are substatial.
well, if you make the assumption that teams are losing games to make matchups better, doesn't that mean that the wolves may try to lose games so they don't have to play us and play either the mavs or grizz instead? and also, are the lakers winning games because they want to play us as well?
