Excellent scoring rampage by Cat, however, I was more impresed with the defensive effort after our normal horrible 1st Qtr defense.

Cat is an awesome scorer when his shots are falling, however, he must develop consistency for the season. Cat has ups and downs that are affected by his shooting. If his shots are falling, he plays great D and hustle. If his shots aren't falling, he doesn't hustle and spends a lot time complaining to whoever will listen.

In addition, we're watching Kobe mature and use his teammates more as can be seen by the number of assists for Kobe that are increasing. Take a look at CAT's assist numbers and they are ugly to say the least.

So Cat, this buds for you. Consistency and passing is the key for CAt.
