"The father of Nick Berg, the American beheaded in Iraq, directly blamed President Bush and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on Thursday for his son's death.

"My son died for the sins of George Bush and Donald Rumsfeld. This administration did this," Berg said in an interview with radio station KYW-AM. "

How do you feel about this conservatives?? Change of heart about Berg ??

Berg dies because he put himself in a bad situation. he chose to goto Iraq, President Bush (or Rumsfield) did not tell him to go, he went for his own reasons (whatever they were).
I truly feel sorry for his family and friends.

I think it is a known fact that Michael Berg is a liberal.

It is a little disappointing that he would use his son's death to spew his crazy political views.

Have you lost a son to a beheading that was videoed and spewed to the world?

You have absolutely know idea what this man is going through right now. It doesn't matter what his political affiliations are, the man is entitled to feel, and deal with his grief in whatever way seems appropriate to him.

To accuse this grieving father of 'using' his own son's death for anything is highly insensitive, unthinking, and poorly done. I haven't lost anyone in this way either, but I've lost both of my parents, and numerous other people close to me, and I know what it is to grieve for someone close, and I know that grieving takes forms that anyone not in the situation can possibly understand.

It's not disappointing, he's allowed to feel however he wants.

What *IS* disappointing is people trying to make an issue about how he feels.

To me, arguing and tossing mud about things like this really disrespects the memories of people like Berg, Tillman, etc.

I apologize for being a little bit insensitive to the Father in Michael Berg losing his son. He deserves to be able to react and grieve however he wishes obviously.

But his conspiracy theories just don't sit right with me and he has taken it to the ultimate extreme by blaming this administration for the acts of cowardly terrorist.
