But not surprising. And, regarding the conservative movement, it had the distinction of being correct.

The disconnect between the GOP and minority groups has long been chronicled, and I've seen little effort to address any of those misgivings.

For the upcoming election, Obama leads Romney among African Americans by a large margin.

He leads Romney six to one among Latinos.

In March Obama had an 18-point lead over Romney among women, not sure how much thats changed in the last month and a half. Additionally, 91% of House GOP members are male.

Although principally, I can understand conservative rhetoric that decries the compartmentalization of society and views it through a purview that is intensely polarizing, but at the same time it is of little debate how abjectly the GOP has disaffected just about every minority group in the US to the point of polling with this level of unfavorability.

The second comment made me LOL. You can bet those precious few conservative raisins will get plenty of camera time August in Tampa.

Unfortunately the presidential election is nothing more than a popularity contest. As long as "Yo cousin Pookey" gets his ass off the couch and votes for the first time.....it's hard to compete with the uneducated, ignorant masses.

Yeah, it may be hard to compete with the uneducated ignorant masses, but I think Obama will be able to do it and beat Romney even though the uneducated masses will be out in full force for Romney.

I don't think you're crazy, just wrong. Obama will have a tougher time than 4 years ago. The "change" mantra is gone, he's not fresh anymore, he can't run against an economy that is sinking like a stone because of GOP policies and his opponent won't choose a dingbat like Sarah Palin as a running mate.

You are in for a surprise. I believe Obama will win but it will be competitive.

Cousin pookey probably spends his time rapping on the corner with Antoine Dodson and drinking 40's...whatever he does, it's not as embarrassing as this trainwreck of a thread that you engineered.

Remember that the white house occupant tossed out the "Cousin Pookie" reference so I guess he's racist too?

As this thread evolves, we must ask ourselves...

... why would a poster choose Latin for "cute anus" as a handle?

According to the NYT/CBS poll from yesterday, Romney is up 46%/44% amongst women. Romney does way better with married women, Obama does better with single women.
